Ground gas assessments are included routinely in Crossfield Consulting desk study and ground investigation reports. However, we can also undertake assessments as a standalone exercise and have developed numerous ground gas solutions for installation in residential and commercial buildings.

These designs have proven to be cost effective and consider appropriate levels of risk that a gas regime might have on a particular development.

Our ground gas assessments are undertaken in accordance with BS 8485 and CIRIA C665 and are tailored for each individual site, so that actual ground gas conditions and risks are assessed.

Ground gas solutions are also integrated with the foundation, sub-structure and structural elements of buildings to provide a holistic and practical solution.
